The presentation of the Marina van Damme Grant 2022 took place on September 30, 2022 at the TU/e. During the award ceremony, Brigitte Lamers was declared the winner of the Marina van Damme Grant 2022. She thus won an amount of 9,000 euros. Runner up is Chenyue Zhang, she is eligible for an amount of 2,500 euros.
Winner Brigitte Lamers
It was an extra festive ceremony for Brigitte Lamers last Friday. Because not only did she receive a check for 9,000 euros during MomenTUm 2022 - to be spent on her personal development - it was also a good reason to visit the Netherlands again. She has been working as team leader for Innovations and Technology at the Swiss high-tech company Metrohm for a year now.
Runner up Chenyue Zhang
Runner-up Chenyue Zhang received a check for 2,500 euros. Zhang wants to use her prize to pay for a research stay at the Flemish technological research institute VITO. Both winners are alumna of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering & Chemistry.
